Hidden Penny Farm

THE PROJECT

Melissa began growing veggies on their Olympic Peninsula homestead to provide a beautiful, nutritious, and balanced array of produce for their community. The name Hidden Penny Farm came from a chapter in the book “Pilgrim at Tinker Creek” by Annie Dillard. Dillard describes being a child and hiding pennies around her neighborhood. She would get excited for people to find them and hoped that it made peoples’ days. Life is strewn with hidden pennies if we are willing to open our eyes and see them.
